Seventy-eight glue sticks packed, only 1,244 more to go.
Mary Inglehart joined 34 other happy campers in stuffing backpacks for project Self Esteem. The program helps kids in need returning to school have the supplies necessary for day one of classes. The project is interdenominational with church members from various congregations across Carroll County preparing the backpacks. The workers stuffed over 700 backpacks with papers, notebooks, pens and pencils, glue, folders, and other necessities for the first day of school. They are distributed at the various food banks across the county.
