Carroll County Music Group celebrates 10-year anniversary

Tuesday, August 1, 2017

The Carroll County Music Group (CCMG) will be celebrating 10 years of supporting artistic endeavors in Northwest Arkansas.

CCMG is a nonprofit organization that supports music education and performance by providing scholarships for students to attend music and theatrical camps throughout the area.

[In conjunction with the 10th anniversary, CCMG has unveiled its new logo created by graphic design artist Randal Thompson. The true essence of CCMG is captured in the logo by featuring a predominant treble cleft that incorporates movement and vibrancy while elegantly accentuating the acronym of CCMG in a classic typeface.

The logo’s colors have special meanings as well. The green of the treble cleft represents the natural beauty of Carroll County and its rich music history. The red signifies the energy and passion of the county’s young artists, and the blue lettering represents CCMG’s deep commitment to artistic expression.

To mark the 10th anniversary, the public is invited to join the CCMG membership at its annual meeting at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs. Musical entertainment comprised of area students, the Mills String Quartet, members of the Methodist Chancel Choir and the Ozarks Chorale will be featured. A potluck dinner will follow.

Everyone is invited to come and help CCMG celebrate its 10th anniversary.
