Relay For Life introduces Cars for a Cure on June 24
Relay For Life is setting up its starting line in Eureka Springs this year.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Old Victorian Inn in Eureka Springs. It will feature a barbecue cook-off, Hot Wheel races and turtle races. Those interested in the turtle races are asked to bring their own turtles.
Relay For Life of Carroll County will also be presenting the inaugural Cars for a Cure show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Old Victoria Inn. All cars, trucks and bikes are welcome. There will be dash plaques for the first 50 vehicles to register and various prizes and awards. The registration fee is $25 for entries postmarked before Thursday, June 15, and $30 for entries postmarked after this date.
Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society (ACS) aimed at raising funds to improve cancer survival, decrease the incidence of cancer and improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their caretakers.
