JANIE MARIE POOR, resident of Green Forest, Arkansas was born February 11, 1958 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Benjamin and Marjorie Ilene (Calkins) Clark. She departed this life Friday, May 12, 2017, in Green Forest, Arkansas at the age of 59 years.
Janie loved horseback riding, fishing and her family.
On October 25, 2008, she was united in marriage with Dillard Kelly Poor, who survives her. She is also survived by two sons, Jamie Ray Moppin of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Raymond Moppin and wife, Sharmon of Decatur, Arkansas; two daughters, Jamie Lynn Pineda of Springdale, Arkansas; Jessica Ann Pleitez and husband, Alex, of Springdale, Arkansas; three brothers, Benny Clark and wife, Linda, of Green Forest, Arkansas; Raymond Clark and wife, Cathy, of Oak Grove, Arkansas; Elmer Ray Clark and wife, Kathy, of Green Forest, Arkansas; three sisters, Bobbie Briley of Berryville, Arkansas; Sandra Robinson of Huntsville, Arkansas; Joyce Jones and husband, Shannon, of Elm Springs, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marjorie Clark; son, Toby Joe Moppin; grandson, Raymond Moppin, Jr.; sister, Wanda Goldsmith; two brothers, Jerry Lee Clark and Alvin Jay Clark; one nephew, Johnny Estep.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville, Arkansas with Reverend Benny Clark officiating.
