GF senior accepted into Arkansas Tech honors program

Alexandria Cisco of Green Forest High School has been accepted into Arkansas Tech University’s Honors Program and was awarded a University Honors Stipend for $4,000 beginning with the fall 2017 semester. In addition to the stipend, Cisco has also received a Board of Trustees Scholarship. The stipend and scholarship may be renewed for up to seven semesters and have a total potential value of $56,000 over four years. Arkansas Tech University awards approximately 40 stipends each year based on academic merit.

Cisco has a 4.2 GPA, an ACT score of 31 and is ranked at the top of her class. She has been an Arkansas Girls’ State Senator, an Arkansas Girls’ State Outstanding Citizen and the Lion’s Club Student of the Month. Cisco is the daughter of Jennifer Mosur and Tommy Cisco and plans to major in political science.
