Mother Nature put on quite a show over the past several days in Carroll County. Temperatures approached 80 degrees in the county last week before heavy thunder and lightning rolled through last Thursday night. The thermometer took a nosedive after that, and Saturday saw the heaviest snowfall of the winter. Fortunately, the temperatures were still just warm enough to prevent the white stuff from accumulating on streets and bridges. For more photos, see Page 16.
