Highway 21 Cleanup

Friday, March 10, 2017
Last weekend more 45 caring friends and neighbors participated in the Annual Highway 21 South Cleanup Event to pick up the litter along this main road south of Berryville. Pictured from left to right are some of the volunteers: Randy Colvin, Jennifer Colvin, Buster Janes, Greg Patty and Jimmy Jennings. More than 12 miles of the highway between the Osage Creek bridge and the Dean Cemetery was cleaned along with some portions of the road between Dean and Highway 412. At least 140 bags of trash were collected. It required two trips with a dump truck from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. Fourteen yards of trash were taken to the compactor on Monday.
