BILL LOVETT, resident of Berryville, was born January 17, 1935 in Berryville, Arkansas, son of Dee and Velma Ruth (Rolfe) Lovett. He departed this life Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 82.

He attended the Green Forest Cowboy church and was a member of the Masonic Ashley Lodge #66 and the Scottish Rite. Bill was an aerospace mechanic, truck driver, cattle rancher, former patrolman for the Berryville Police Department, and worked for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department as appointed sheriff for six months as well as Captain for Sheriff Andy Andrews. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.

On April 4, 1959 he was united in marriage with Marcia Kay Krick, who survives him. He is also survived by his son, Roy and wife, Shena (Powers) Lovett, of Berryville; grandsons, Daniel and Austin Lovett of Berryville and several other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dee and Velma Lovett.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Hale Cemetery in Berryville, Arkansas with Pastor Billy Williams officiating.
