Cornerstone Bank announces new Home Loan division
Charles T. Cross, president and chief executive officer of Cornerstone Bank, has announced the formation of a new residential mortgage division for the local bank. Cornerstone Home Mortgage recently celebrated its "Grand Opening" with a ribbon-cutting at the new office located inside the bank's Berryville facility.
"We are excited to introduce a mortgage company where customers and local realtors can deal directly with a team of home loan experts whose sole focus will be on facilitating the loan process on residential type properties," Cross said. "This should make for a quicker and more efficient borrowing experience for our clients. We feel that having a team of experts who deal exclusively with these types of loan products will streamline the process involved when buying or refinancing a residential property. We are thrilled to be able to bring this initiative forward and feel this division will dramatically enhance our client's satisfaction level with our bank moving forward."
Cornerstone Home Mortgage, a division of Cornerstone Bank, will be staffed by a team of seasoned home loan experts who will strive to make the home buying or refinancing experience a pleasant and expedited one. The bank will continue to have residential loan officers at each of its locations for convenience to its clients yet will conduct the processing of files through Cornerstone Home Mortgage. The local bank will continue to offer long-term, 15- and 30-year fixed rate mortgages on all types of residential properties, including primary residences, second homes and investment type properties.
Cornerstone Bank is a 104-year-old Carroll County based institution with locations in Eureka Springs, Holiday Island, Berryville, Huntsville and Shell Knob, Mo. The bank is currently under contract on land in Harrison, for its upcoming entry into the Boone County market.
