Margie Esther Hawthorne, 74, of Kingston, Ark., died July 3, 2016 at Autumn Hill Nursing Home in Berryville, Ark. She was born Nov. 9, 1941 at Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Arnold E. and Ruth Elizabeth Baker Dick. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Darlene Dean.

Survivors include: her husband of 58 years, Johnny Lee Hawthorne of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bob and Teresa Hawthorne of Kinsgton, Ark., James and Leona Hawthorne of Stonewall, La. and Steven Hawthorne of Thornburg, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Ray Clark of Green Forest, Ark. and Dorothy and Steve Staton of Sherwood, Ark.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Harold and Jan Dick and Oren Dick, all of Topeka, Kan.; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Reverend Bradley Clark officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Campground Cemetery at Kingston under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be: Johnny Hawthorne, Bradley Hawthorne, Stacy Staton, Eddie Houghton, Greg Houghton and T.J. Hawthorne.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
