Summer Food Program feeds kids for free
To keep children healthy while school is out for the summer, Berryville Schools will provide free meals to children during the summer.
The Berryville Intermediate School cafeteria will serve breakfast and lunch daily Monday through Thursday from June 6 to July 1. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
There are no income requirements or registration. Any child under age 18 may eat at the cafeteria.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) partners with local organizations, like Berryville Schools, each year to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. For more information about the national Summer Food Service Program visit http://www.fns.usda.gov/end/summer.
