The Eureka Springs Community Center Foundation announced the First Annual Alumni Basketball Tournament, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Saturday May 28, at the Former Highlander Gym.

The event is a fundraiser for the Highlander Community Center. Four captains -- Chris Crider, Nick Bower, Traci Jardin and Taylor Williams -- have volunteered to participate and coordinate teams with an invitation to all former Highlander players to participate. The event is co-ed and will begin with a player draft at 1:30 p.m. Player participation is $15 and all players get a shirt.

The first game will begin at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 1 p.m. for fan support. A brief presentation on the community center will happen before the championship game. Admission is $5 with all proceeds going toward the Cornerstone bank $5,000 match to relocate the farmers market to the future Community Center site.
