Donna Jo Plumlee, age 61, of Green Forest, Ark. passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born May 31, 1954 at Compton, Ark., daughter of Herbert and Margreat (Kilgore) Davidson.
Donna attended elementary school in Compton and later went to Harrison where she graduated from Harrison High School. On Nov. 7, 1980 she was united in marriage with Harold Plumlee. She was employed at Green Forest Tyson Foods and retired after 29 years.
Some of her loves in life were traveling, gardening, cooking, camping, crocheting and hard work. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother and especially proud of her three month old grandson, Jett.
Donna Jo is survived by her husband, Harold Plumlee of the home; son, Daryl Plumlee and wife Misti of Green Forest; sisters, Pat Henley and husband Mike of Compton, Sissy Still and husband Gary of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; brothers, Verl Davidson and wife Lesa of Compton, Sonny Davidson and wife Tracy of Compton; grandson, three month old Jett Wayne Plumlee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Margreat Davidson and mother and father-in-law, Molly Bell and Donald Plumlee.
Celebration Of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Larry Plumlee and Bro Roscoe Wade will officiate with interment following at Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Smith Family Funeral Home.
