Booth space and trophy categories will be expanded for this year's show. The only restrictions are no flea market or garage sale type items are to be sold. About 50 vendors are expected including a barbecue dinner.

There will be activities for children and a buy, sell and trade swap meet for Jeep parts.

Registration for each Jeep to be shown is $25 and can be done online at or by calling the Chamber of Commerce--479-244-9682.

The idea for creating a car show for Jeeps came three years ago from Jo Henderson. She and Don Doramus pitched the idea to the Chamber of Commerce and were given the green light though they are not organizing this year's event. With help from the Chamber, Henderson and Doramus set about organizing and finding sponsors for the first JeepFest last year. It was their first experience in organizing a car show and with only 12 weeks to prepare they had to scramble.

They traveled to Springfield, Berryville, Huntsville and Bentonville ginning up interest in the show. Their efforts paid off with sponsorship by Wheelin' World and other area businesses in Eureka Springs. Eventually 37 Jeeps were registered for the show that was attended by approximately 400 people. The Chamber deemed the first show a huge success.

With more time and more experience this year's Jeep Fest. Bring your lawn chairs and be ready to enjoy JeepFest 2016.
