Did you recognize the 1920s-era Kings River Bridge, under construction, leading to Grandview on Arkansas 143? The one-lane bridge served until 1975 when the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department replaced it with a new two-lane concrete and steel span. After the new structure was put into service the old bridge was torn down and pieces of concrete and concrete-filled steel supports can still be seen lying along the north river bank.
