State Rep. Ron McNair of Alpena sits surrounded by students at the Green Forest campus of the Learning Center of North Arkansas. He visited the facility last Friday to deliver a $5,000 check to Executive Director Karla Gray and Site Director Judy Williams. The grant came from state General Improvement Funds that were allotted to McNair's district. The center provides children with pre-kindergarten education and serves boys and girls from birth to age 5. The Learning Center has campuses in Green Forest and Berryville and plans to open soon in Holiday Island. McNair toured the campus, visiting with children and staff members and receiving Valentines and cards from the students and teachers in appreciation for his support of the center.
