One-man show can't beat Eureka

Tuesday, November 3, 2015

It was a basketball game turned video game Friday night in Eureka Springs. The Highlanders defeated Bruno-Pyatt 71-42, but that didn't stop the Patriots' Dylan Harris from putting on an impressive performance with 34 points. Eureka Springs' Reggie Sanchez wasn't to be outdone, however, as he put up 31.

"We played a good game, we just didn't get enough stops defensively," Eureka Springs coach Brian Rambo said.

The Highlanders led 31-25 at halftime and Harris had 23 of the 25 Patriots points.

"He wasn't real big, he could just shoot," Rambo said. "He was a really good ballplayer."

To go along with Sanchez' 31 points, J.M. Gregg had 16 and Dalton Kesner had 12.

The Highlanders hosted Cotter on Monday.
