REVEREND BILLY JACKSON ETHERIDGE, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born July 06, 1927 in Jacksonville, Texas, a son of Cecil Clayton and Alice Rochelle (Webb) Etheridge. He departed this life Friday, October 30, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 88 years.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a Pentecostal Minister for many years.

He is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Sue Gentry of Pensacola, Florida, Barbara Jean Miller and husband Fred of Mount Vernon, Missouri, Alice Marie Edwards of Green Forest, Arkansas, and Martha Fay Roney and husband Berkley of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; one brother, Jay Dee Etheridge of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

On August 03, 1946, Billy was united in marriage with Dixie Belle (Patterson) Etheridge who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents, Cecil and Alice Etheridge; one sister, Mary Alice Armilio; one brother, Buster Etheridge; one granddaughter, Kati Franklin; and one great-grandson, Blake Alan Taylor.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 05, 2015 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 06, 2015 at the Spoken Word Ministry Church on Highway 62 between Berryville and Green Forest with John Franke officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
