The Berryville junior high football team defeated Green Forest 32-6 Thursday in Green Forest.

Berryville's Tristan Updegraff caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Luke Britt in the second quarter to get the scoring started for Berryville. A Kooper Logan two-point conversion made it 8-0. Britt intercepted the ball on the following Tiger possession and returned it for a 26-yard touchdown. A Logan pass to Wyatt Poe gave the Bobcats a 16-0 lead. Britt found Ethan Gregory for a 23-yard touchdown pass. A run by Logan on the two-point conversion made it 24-0 at halftime.

The Tigers got their lone points of the game in the third quarter when they broke loose for a 37-yard touchdown. The Bobcats scored the final points of the game in the fourth quarter when Christian Lemus broke through for a 6-yard run. Logan's run on the two-point conversion was good.

Britt led the Bobcats with 146 passing yards. Logan had 43 rushing yards and Poe had 67 receiving yards. Green Forest had 99 yards on offense.

On Thursday, Berryville travels to Shiloh Christian while Green Forest hosts Mountain View. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 5:30 p.m.
