Fred Maxwell Walker
FRED MAXWELL WALKER, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born October 06, 1921 in Kingston, Arkansas, a son of Norval S. and Daphne (Maxwell) Walker. He departed this life Monday, August 03, 2015 in his home in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 93 years.
Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He worked as a dairy farmer and was named Farm Family of the Year 1960. He was a member of the Dairy Association and the United Methodist Church in Berryville.
Fred is survived by two daughters, Mary Ruth Hudspeth and Carol S. Walker both of Berryville, AR; one son, James N. Walker and wife Cindy M. of Rogers, AR; three grandchildren, Christina Hudspeth, Misha Walker, and John Walker; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
On October 26, 1957, Fred was united in marriage with Marie (Binam) Walker who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents, Norval and Daphne Walker; and one sister, Ruth Callen.
Visitation was from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 06, 2015 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service was at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 07, 2015 at the Berryville United Methodist Church with Pastor Kenny Lee officiating. Interment followed the service in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Berryville United Methodist Church, P.O.
