Green Forest man wins $100K in lottery

Tuesday, May 5, 2015

A Green Forest man is now $100,000 richer after cashing in a winning ticket in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Moises Ochoa won the $100,000 instant prize Monday after purchasing a $5 "Win It All" ticket at the T/A One Stop in Green Forest.

Ochoa couldn't be reached for comment but a news release from the ASL said he planned to "pay a few bills and save the rest."

Ochoa became the second big winner from Green Forest and the third from Carroll County in the past two months. In March, Barry Connell of Green Forest won a $250,000 prize on a $20 "Make My Year" instant game, and Shirley Collins of Berryville won $77,777 on a "Lucky 777" instant game.
