CHARLES EDWARD DELOZIER, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born January 09, 1933 in Green Forest, Arkansas, a son of James Edward and Genevieve (Reece) DeLozier. He departed this life Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in his home in Green Forest, at the age of 82 years.

Charles was a member of First Baptist Church in Green Forest. He was also a member of JC's and Masons Yell Lodge. He worked as a mechanic for Green Forest Schools for many years. He dearly loved his family.

Charles is survived by one son, Chuck DeLozier and wife Susie of Green Forest, AR; one daughter, Tammy and husband Jim Goins of Green Forest, AR; grandchildren: Christy and husband Jamie Tibbets of Berryville, AR, Mandy and husband Nathan Kilbourn of Pemberville, OH, Sarah and husband Seth Villines of Compton, AR, Cody DeLozier of Green Forest, AR, Trace DeLozier of Green Forest, AR; great-grandchildren: Mae, Sunny and Kash Tibbets, Raiden and Conan Kilbourn, and Avery Villines; two sisters, Penny Rossman of Binghamton, NY and Pat Ritsch and companion Jim Martin of Overland Park, KS; one brother, Acie DeLozier and wife Joan of Corona Del Mar, CA; one sister-in-law, Darleen DeLozier of Green Forest, AR; one brother-in-law, Jim Bishop and wife Betty of Green Forest, AR; one sister-in-law, Carlene Bishop of Green Forest, AR; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

On January 18, 1958, Charles was united in marriage with his first wife, Dilla Jean (Bishop) DeLozier who preceded him in death; in April 1994, he was united in marriage with his second wife, Jannis Louis (Dickerson) DeLozier who also preceded him in death. Charles was also preceded by his parents, James and Genevieve DeLozier; one grandson, Michael Goins; and one brother, Jimmie DeLozier.

There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Nelson's Green Forest Chapel with Brother Jim Goins Jr. officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Pickens Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
