Berryville FFA students provide Thanksgiving meals

On Nov. 24, the Berryville Future Farmers of America Chapter participated in the FFA annual philanthropy event called "Feeding America."

The Berryville students provided Thanksgiving meals to local families in need, and area businesses helped by donating money. The meal included things such as: a turkey, rolls, cans of corn, a bag of potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, gravy mix, a gallon of milk, a tub of butter, a bag of beans, a bag of rice, a pumpkin pie,and a tub of cool whip. Each family received every one of these items in their Thanksgiving meal.

The Berryville FFA students were able to feed a total of 32 families in the community. The businesses and organizations that donated to the cause were: PM Machine, Cornerstone Bank, Don Foster with Arvest Bank, Michael and Brenda Logan, Berryville Ford, Nighthawk Customs, Mini Storage, Adkins Refrigeration, Shawn the Insulator, Sigmon Simmentals, Quality Tire, West Fork Baptist Church, the Adams Family and other individuals from around the community.
