WCCAD to meet Monday
EUREKA SPRINGS -- The Western Carroll County Ambulance District will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Eureka Springs fire station.
On the agenda is an item to accept the resignation of board member Jim Simmons of Inspiration Point, and to vote on the appointment of Sam Ward, of Inspiration Point, to replace him.
The board will also elect a new vice-chairman, to replace Simmons, and also will designate who can sign checks.
Also on the agenda is a discussion of the development of officer duty lists. The position of vice-chairman is new since the board was recently increased to five members under new state law.
The board will also hear ambulance performance reports, Emergency Medical Responder reports and a report from the EMR Alliance, as well as the treasurer's report.
The meeting, open to the public, will take place Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. at the Eureka Springs fire station on East Van Buren.
