The Berryville Lady Bobcats lost to Shiloh Christian for the second time this season Thursday, but Coach Kristin Whetham saw plenty of bright spots in her team's performance.

Berryville forced Shiloh into a five-set marathon before Shiloh won 25-21, 21-25, 25-15, 20-25, 15-13.

Shiloh is the only team to defeat Berryville in conference play this season.

"With every practice our skills get better and although we lost that showed tonight," Whetham said. "From the last time we played Shiloh to now we are a completely different team ... just a 100 percent turnaround."

The Lady Bobcats won two home matches earlier in the week. On Monday, Berryville defeated Blue Eye, Mo., 25-7, 25-17 and 25-18. Berryville then topped Huntsville 25-17, 25-14, 25-17 Tuesday.
