Also presenting were members Dale Wachner, left, and Roger Hill.
The Arkansas State Veterans Home, located in Fayetteville, is a licensed 108-bed skilled care nursing facility that provides a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for veterans. The Holiday Island Elks donation will be used for renovations/improvements to the Home's hospice care facility.
In each of the 172 VA Medical Centers nationwide there is an Elk committee at work. Since 1917, hundreds of thousands of Elks and their families have given generously of their time, energy and resources so that the lives of ill and aging veterans will be enhanced.
Holiday Island Elks welcomes new members to join its social and benevolent programs.
