HISID to meet twice Monday
HOLIDAY ISLAND -- The Holiday Island Board of Commissioners will hold two meetings on Monday, Oct. 21.
The first is a regular meeting at 9 a.m. at the district office. The agenda includes distribution of the 2013 budget, discussion of and possible amendment of the sheriff's deputy housing monthly housing allowance and a request by Commissioner Ken Brown to keep the Barn open through December instead of at the end of November for the winter closure. The agenda may include other items as yet unscheduled.
Then at 5:30 p.m., the board will convene again to accept nominations for two commissioner positions in this year's board election.
Both meetings will take place at the district office at 110 Woodsdale Drive. The public is welcome.
