EUREKA SPRINGS -- The Ozarks Chorale has announced its upcoming Spring Singfest Concert on Saturday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at The Auditorium in downtown Eureka Springs.

Tickets will be available at the door. Prices are $10 for adults and students with ID get in for free.

"All the music reminds us that Spring and Summer are right around the corner," said Beth Withey, artistic director and conductor. "With folk song favorites, warm jazz, musical theater gems, and topping it all off with Gershwin's 'Summertime' from Porgy and Bess, we plan to really heat things up."

The Ozark Chorale works hard to expand its community outreach by donating members' time and talents to local residents of Green Acres, Peach Tree, and Holly House Assisted Living facilities, and Brighton Ridge Nursing and Rehab Facility.

Each week more than 50 singers from ages 17 to 73 practice a variety of songs for the concert that the whole family can enjoy.

"Our seasoned veterans and several new members are putting in the effort to achieve a pleasing sound you will enjoy," said Paul Gandy, chorale board president.

The Ozarks Chorale has been together for more than 18 years.

Refreshments will be available with all those proceeds going to the Good Shepherd Humane Society.
