Bobcats blank Mountain Home, Lady Cats suffer 3-0 loss

BERRYVILLE -- Berryville's Hanzel Ramirez headed in a goal with 24 minutes left in the first half to put the Bobcats up 1-0 and Oliver Perez stuck one in the back of the net with 15 minutes left to help the Cats secure a 2-0 win at Mountain Home on Thursday.

Ramirez took a pass from Jesus Sanchez while Perez took a feed from Josue Portillo as Berryville improved to 8-5.

The Cats earned their seventh win of the season with a 5-1 blowout of Rogers Heritage Monday night.

In girl's action, Berryville dropped to 3-4 with a 3-0 loss to Mountain Home after beating Rogers Heritage 3-2 on Monday. Rachel Lehr netted two goals while Yoyci Lopez scored the other.

The boys continue action Monday with a home match against Subiaco Academy and Friday at Decatur. The girls play again April 15 at Bergman.
