Easter sunrise service set at Christ of Ozarks

EUREKA SPRINGS -- On Sunday, March 31 at Christ of the Ozarks on the grounds of the Great Passion Play, people of all ages from all over Carroll County will join together to see the sunrise.

Western Carroll County Ministerial Association along with The Great Passion Play is hosting the return of this special Easter event, and at 7 a.m. as the sun rises over the Ozarks, people of all faiths will come together in unity to celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ's resurrection.

David Kline, pastor of Valley View Baptist Church and president of the Ministerial Association, will open with prayer.

The Carroll County Interdenominational Choir will lead the music.

Bob Perkins, Gideon state vice president will read from the Bible.

Dick Kelsey, pastor and chief operating officer of the Passion Play, will give the message.

Youth Pastor Wes George of Berryville Assembly of God will give the benediction.

Following the service, breakfast will be served to everyone at the Great Hall on the grounds, with donations going to the Passion Play.
