Green Forest dominated by Lincoln at home

GREEN FOREST -- Green Forest dropped a 14-1 decision to Lincoln on Thursday to fall to 1-3 on the season.

Devin Taylor picked up the lone hit for the Tigers and absorbed the loss on the mound, lasting three innings, giving up five hits, walking two and striking out a pair.

Lincoln scored a run in the first and third innings and two in the second before erupting for 10 in the fourth off reliever Clayton Watson to put the game away. Watson walked three and gave up two hits.

Gavin Nelson finished up the final 1 2/3 innings, allowing no hits and walking one while fanning two.

The Tigers travel to Bergman today and continue the season Monday at home against Pea Ridge and Tuesday at home against Blue Eye, MO.
