Miss Arkansas preliminary pageant set in Harrison

HARRISON -- The Miss North Central Pageants will be held March 8-9 at the Harrison High School Auditorium beginning at 6:30 each night.

Friday, March 8 will be the fundraiser pageant for the scholarship pageant. It is open to all ages and they can reside anywhere. There are 10 divisions: Baby Miss (0-18 months old), Wee Mr. (0-35 months), Wee Miss (19-35 months), Tiny Miss (3-4 years old), Little Miss (5-6 years), Young Miss (7-9years), Petite Miss (10-12 years), Junior Teen (13-15 years), NCA Miss (16-21 years), and Miss NCA (22 and older, married or single).

Deadline to enter is March 2.

The Miss North Central, Miss North Central Outstanding Teen and Princess Pageants will be held March 9. This is a preliminary for the Miss Arkansas and Teen Pageants.

The Miss Contestants, 17 years old to 24 years old (Senior division), will compete in Interview, Swimsuit, Talent and evening gown.

The Miss Outstanding Teen contestants, 13 to 17 years old (Junior division), will compete in Interview, Fitness, Talent and evening gown.

The Miss and Teen contestants must reside in the following counties: Baxter, Boone, Carroll, Fulton, Izard, Madison, Marion, Newton, Searcy, or Stone.

The Princess (4-8 years) and (9-12 years) can reside anywhere and they will compete in casual wear, evening gown and princess production number. Winners will get to go to state with Miss and Teen winners. Deadline to enter is Feb. 25.

Miss Arkansas Sloane Roberts will be at the pageant both nights along with other great entertainment. Everyone is invited to come.
