Berryville library to extend hours

Tuesday, November 20, 2012

BERRYVILLE -- Effective in January, the Berryville Public Library is extending its hours of operation and will now be open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

This expansion of service hours will offer library patrons more flexibility and convenience in accessing library services.

Mark Schuster, library director, said, "For many families, Sunday is the only day of the week they have to all be together. Those looking for something to do will be able to visit the library and check out materials, access the internet -- all the services our patrons have come to expect throughout the rest of the week. Offering Sunday hours will help us meet our goal of offering the best services we can to our community."

With the expansion in hours, the library's weekly operating schedule will be: Sundays 1 to 5 p.m.; Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
