EUREKA SPRINGS -- After a several-month process, the Western Carroll County Ambulance District board expects to finally approve Tuesday the addition of a performance bond from the City of Eureka Springs.

The bond guarantees compensation should the city be unable to perform according to a contract to provide ambulance service to district residents.

The board will also discuss and approve a new pre-approved supplies list for the Emergency Medical Responders Alliance, which specifies which supplies and equipped by WCCAD and which by the city.

The board will also discuss a protocol change to allow the use of tourniquets, paying for issuance of Holiday Island CPR cards and the TB test contract with Eureka Springs Hospital.

WCCAD will meet Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m. at the Eureka Springs Fire Department. The public is welcome.
