EUREKA SPRINGS -- Josh Premeau scored a game-high 21 points Tuesday night to lead the Highlanders in a 59-52 loss at Hass Hall.

Dalton Johnson also found success from long range, making five 3-pointers and finishing with 15 points. Tanner Allee added 10 points, including a trey and Jake McClung chipped in six.

Eureka Springs led 16-15 after the opening period and played to a 27-27 tie at intermission. But Haas Hall came out firing out of the locker room, outscoring the Highlanders 18-9 in the third and hanging on to the lead through the final stanza.

Eureka Springs bounced back for a win against Alpena on Thursday to improve to 3-2. Results of the game were not available by press time.
