BERRYVILLE -- With volleyball making its final sets on Monday, the Berryville Lady Bobcats and coach Daniel Cornelison are digging right into the hardwood with 18 girls fighting for position on the basketball squad.

Cornelison and the Lady Cats ran through the second full practice of the season on Wednesday as the previously absent volleyball players made the transition from setting and spiking to dribbling and dishing.

Berryville is coming off an 8-18 season that came up one game shy of reaching the 1-4A Conference Regional Tournament last year. With only one senior on this year's team, the Lady Cats will rely heavily on sophomores and juniors.
