Carroll County News: Local News: Berryville High School alumni banquet set for Oct. 6 (09/22/12)

BERRYVILLE -- The Berryville High School Alumni Association Banquet will be held on Oct. 6 in the BHS gymnasium. All graduates of BHS are invited to attend the banquet.

A meet and greet will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the banquet at 7 p.m.

Students of Berryville EAST, a project-based student driven class has chosen the BHS Alumni as one of its projects; the students want to create a webpage to preserve BHS history.

"Students will be at the banquet and will scan any BHS photos and conduct interviews to begin their project," said Carol Engskov. "If any alumni has photos that they would like to see on the web page, please bring them to the banquet."

The BHS class of 1962 will celebrate their 50th reunion along side the class of 1987, who will celebrate their 25th reunion. Alumni, Jim Smith, will also celebrate his 100th birthday at the banquet.
