Okla. City man killed in wreck

CARROLL COUNTY -- Juan G Juarez, 57, of Oklahoma City, Okla., was fatally injured in a motorcycle wreck on U.S. Highway 62 Sunday morning.

The Arkansas State Police report that Juarez was traveling east about 1.39 miles west of Busch when the wreck occurred. He was driving a 2007 Yamaha VCT motorcycle, with Belinda McCloud, 46, on the back.

Juarez lost control of the vehicle around 11:22 while negotiating a left-hand curve. The bike crossed the outside fog line, went down an embankment and overturned.

Trooper Joshua Arnold reported that both riders were injured in the wreck. They were transported to Eureka Springs Hospital, but Juarez died before arrival. A hospital spokeswoman said McCloud was released from the emergency room after treatment.
