Cory Miller, working for the city of Berryville, cleans up around George's Pond earlier this week while a fire hose sprays water into the pond to raise the water level, all in preparation for this Saturday's children's fishing derby, sponsored by local police departments. One inch on an acre of water is approximately 72,000 gallons of water -- so it takes a while to re-fill a pond. For more information on the fishing derby, visit click
