The Eureka Springs Highlanders hosted their first golf tournament of the season at the Carroll County Country Club course in Berryville.

The Bobcats joined the Highlanders on the links. Gentry, Farmington and Gravette also journeyed east to participate in the tournament.

Both Eureka Springs and Berryville fell short of the three golfers needed to field teams, and Farmington was short on fielding a girls team.

Mark White, of Gentry, shot a 41 and was the boys medalist. Michaela Milam shot a 45 and was the girls medalist. The tournament was nine-hole play.

Boys team results: 1st -- Farmington, 126; 2nd -- Gentry, 129; 3rd -- Gravette, 165.

Girls team results: 1st -- Gentry, 153; 2nd -- Gravette, 173.

Eureka Springs boys individual results: Justin Saab, 52. Berryville boys individual results: Chandler Mann, 52; Jarred Osnes, 54.

Eureka Springs girls individual results: Brianna Birchfield, 64; Cassie Ray, 74. Berryville girls individual results: McKenna Hussey, 51.
