Green Forest and Berryville scrimmage games coming up

Both county football teams will play "benefit scrimmage" games this month.

Green Forest will play at Gravette on August 23. The jr. high team will play at 5:30 p.m. with the sr. high following at 7 p.m.

"Format for the game will be 20 plays and then we'll play one-half of a regulation game," said head Tiger football coach Jay Martin.

Berryville's benefit scrimmage game is at Mansfield on August 21. It will begin at 6 p.m.

These games give teams a preseason opportunity to play at full speed without the pressure of a game which counts toward the record.
