Kimberlin new chairman of Mercy Foundation board
Berryville -- Richard Kimberlin has been appointed chairman of the Board of Directors for Mercy Health Foundation Berryville.
Kimberlin is a longtime supporter of Mercy. Since joining the board in 2010, he has served on various committees and as board vice chair. His commitment to programs, including the Black and White Charity Ball, has helped Mercy provide quality health care to the community.
"Richard is a true asset to the Foundation's philanthropic programs and services, committed to patient care and the community," Nicole Hoppel, executive director for the foundation said in a press release. "We are excited to have him serve as board chair -- his enthusiasm and commitment to Mercy and the health of our community are unyielding."
Mercy Health Foundation, a non-profit organization, raises philanthropic funds to help Mercy Hospital Berryville meet the community's health care needs.
Its 14-member board provides support and guidance to the foundation's many philanthropic programs and services, which support advanced medical technologies, new construction, renovations and healthcare scholarships.
