Antioch Church to host revival

The Antioch Church north of Berryville will host four days of revival services by evangelist Billy Burks.. The services will begin at 6 pm Aug. 12 and at 7 pm Aug. 13-15.

HI Community Church to hold contemporary P&W services

A contemporary Praise and Worship service will be in held on Sunday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Island Community Church, 188 Stateline Drive, Holiday Island.

The service will feature Kerry and Heather Hays and the H.I.C.C. Praise Band. Come and worship with us as we praise God as Creator and Redeemer. Then mark your calendars as we continue to meet on the second Sunday of each month. The service will be held in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome!

Gospel Quartet The Dartts to appear in Shell Knob

The gospel song-writing legend and gospel quartet The Dartts will appear in concert at 6:30 pm, Aug. 14 at First Baptist Church of Shell Knob.

If variety is the spice of life, then Tracy Dartt and his family group are the perfect treat for the appetites of gospel music fans. Their smooth blends and heartfelt presentations make them a favorite for people of all ages.

The Dartts write all of their music, and many of their songs have been recorded by some of the nation's top Southern gospel artists. Tracy Dartt is the composer of the classic "God on the Mountain."

Admission is free, though a love offering will be taken. The First Baptist Church of Shell Knob is located at 25896 Hwy. YY, a half mile east of Highway 39 in Shell Knob. For more information or directions, call the church office at 417-858-3496.

HI Community Church to host book study

On Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 pm, Holiday Island Community Church will host a book study on "The Harbinger" by Jonathan Cahn. The church is located at 188 Stateline Drive, Holiday Island.

The discussion will cover "where the Nation is as of today, where we are headed and what we must do to change course. The class will be led by Dale Nichols, 253-8925.

It is suggested that one read the book in advance and bring questions with you. Everyone is invited. A DVD by the author will also be shown during this course.
