HISID puts roof replacement on business meeting agenda
HOLIDAY ISLAND -- Along with a change order on this year's road paving program, the topic of replacing the district office's roof will be on the agenda for Monday's Board of Commissioners business meeting.
The roof was one of the capital projects built into the budget this year, with $25,000 set aside for it. Then in December commissioners learned emergency HVAC replacements were needed at the Clubhouse and a new roof, which was leaking badly, at the Yacht Club. The board approved shifting the $25,000 for the district office roof and using $15,000 already set aside for HVAC to do both the Clubhouse HVAC for $33,000 and the Yacht Club roof for $8,500.
Also on the agenda are the district manager's report and an executive session.
The business meeting will take place on Monday, July 30, at 9 a.m. at the district office at 110 Woodsdale Drive. The meeting is open to the public.
