Head-on collision on Hwy. 187

Holiday Island Emergency Medical Responders, Eureka Springs ambulance crews and Troop L state police responded to the scene of a head-on collision today around 2 p.m. between Elk Ranch and Hwy. 23 North. A green Saturn, driven by a man and heading west on Hwy. 187, collided with a red Geo Prizm driven by a woman. Both drivers are said to be from Holiday Island. The Saturn driver was transported to Eureka Springs Hospital with unknown injuries. Watch for further updates on this site and in our Carroll County News July 17 midweek edition.
