All 7th graders with an up-to-date physical are asked to come by the field house Monday-Friday from 8am-3pm to pick up equipment for this fall. Practice for 7th graders will begin the first day of school, Aug. 20.

Junior (8th and 9th) and senior (10th-12th) high practice will begin July 30 at 7:30 am.

The coaches and school will host a student-athlete parents' meeting on July 17 at 6 p.m. in the field house. This meeting is to cover new hydration and concussion awareness policies set by the Arkansas Activities Association.

Berryville senior high team will be participating in 7 on 7 games July 9, 16, and 23 at 6 p.m. in Harrison.

BHS will also be hosting a Team Camp on July 12 at 6 p.m. with Green Forest and Huntsville. The team will travel to Green Forest on the July 19 and then to Huntsville on July 26 as well for Team Camps.

Youth baseball tournaments continue in Eureka Springs

Eureka Springs will host the 2012 North Arkansas 11- and 12-year old District 4 baseball tournament during the weekend of July 6.

Eureka Springs kids will be playing, so local residents are invited to come out and support them.

The Eureka Springs Youth Sports Association is looking for people to donate time taking admissions, working concessions or helping with field maintenance. Any sort of monetary donation or supplies that can be sold or used at concessions would also be greatly appreciated.
