Pat Burnett, 78, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born Nov. 11, 1933 in Elkins, AR to Patrick Henry and Eula Clark Burnett.
He was a retired vice-president for Ozark Forest Products and a salesman for Whit Chevrolet and Liberty Advertising. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and was a Baptist. He was an avid Razorback fan and loved attending the baseball games with his son. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Q. N. "Kit" Carson.
He is survived by his wife, Lu Nell Burnett; two daughters, Patty Sanders and her husband James of Berryville and Debbie Scoggin and her husband Steve of Fayetteville; a son, Mike Burnett of Tontitown; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Carson Ford and her husband Dennis of Hoschton, GA; a brother-in-law, James Hankins and his wife Carol of Missouri; two grandchildren, James Tyler Sanders and Jenna Marie Sanders. He was loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 18 at Moore's Chapel.
Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
