The Auditorium in Eureka Springs will host the Opera in the Ozarks' opera outreach program, "When Toys Talk," Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16. The performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., Friday, 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., Saturday.

"When Toys Talk" is an adaptation of Ravels' "L'Enfant et les Sortileges." The short, delightful production imitates the life of a typical young boy who gets into trouble with his mother for not following the rules and is sent to his room to reflect on his bad behavior. The boy throws a temper tantrum that leads into the imaginative story.

On Sunday, June 24 at 3 p.m., Opera on the Ozarks will host Family Day. Parents and children can arrive at 2:30 p.m., tour the campus and dress up like opera characters.

"When Toys Talk," is free for children and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased from Opera in the Ozarks by visiting Opera.org or calling 479-253-8595.

A special bargain for those staying overnight in Eureka Springs, is that these performances are $5, just ask for a voucher from your lodging host.
