'Idol' finalists headline Branson show

BRANSON, Mo. -- Andy Williams Moon River Theatre in Branson, Mo. is hosting performances by American Idol winners and finalists.

The show, aptly named, "The Finalists Live," features 15 performers from the hit television show "American Idol," all summer long.

The first round of performances continue tonight and will run through Saturday, June 16. The entertainers for these dates are 2009 American Idol winner Lee DeWyze, finalists Blake Lewis, Elliot Yamin, Kimberly Caldwell and Thia Megia.

The second round of entertainers are to be Diana Degarmo, Scott Savol, Siobhan Magnus, Ace Young and Alexis Grace, with performances running from June 18-July 21.

The final group of entertainers begin July 23-Aug. 18, with performances by 2003 American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, Bo Bice, Katie Stevens, Vonzell Solomon and R.J. Helton.

The shows will be hosted by impressionist Pete Peterkin from "America's Got Talent."

Tickets are $35 for the first round of performances and $25 for the second and third. The lower ticket price is only valid with purchase of the first round. Child tickets prices are $18.

Performances are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Friday at 2 p.m. On Saturday evenings, the theatre will hold a backstage meet and greet with the finalists.
