People driving by the Holiday Island district office might be dismayed to see every bush and bit of ground cover gone, but it won't stay that way, said District Manager John Kennedy. "We're starting landscaping at the district office," he said. "Public Works did the prep work. I'll be doing most of the landscaping, with staff help." He said the plan is for an "exerscape," which doesn't use irrigation. "We'll put in flowerpots that can be hand-watered," he said.
